I have tried to get a DLink router DIR 601 to be recognised by my computer Right now the router is connected: Ethernet cable connecting SMCD3GN modem to "Internet" on back of router. Lan 1 on router connected to PC via Ethernet cable. I had a Linksys that worked great, but unfortunatly, it bit the dust, now I am back with the crappy Dlink.
